Haunted House Logo Designs

During the month of October, there will be several Halloween-design themed postings in celebration of the upcoming spooktacular holiday. This next entry focuses on the sometimes intricately devious creations of haunted house logos, and the not so horrifically intriguing designs that someone has slapped together.

What draws your attention to a haunted attraction? Before word of mouth, before stepping foot across the threshold of impending doom that awaits you; you see a campaign or marketing ploy to reel you in. A thoughtfully designed logo can do that and much more.

Usually, you would want to showcase a bit of what your haunt has to offer when thinking of a brand/logo design. Say you have a haunted attraction with the name, Heart Stopper Fright; you would think to have something representing either a heart that has ceased to beat, a flatline image design, or some character having the holy-ghost scared out of them. In more obscure names such as, Survival; you may have to think a little outside the box; a shadowed vision of a person barely escaping a terrible demise, or clever usage of bloodied or battered survival equipment would bring intrigue and a nice touch.

Let's take a look at some of the logos for haunted attractions around the United States:
